Project Description

On Wednesday 21 October 2009, the Minister for Infrastructure, Transport, Regional Development and Local Government released the final report into the NSW Grain Freight Review. The findings of the review are numerous and address economic, institutional, regulatory and supply chain coordination issues. The Review’s recommendations are made against the short, medium and long term.

Benefits

The Review provided a short, medium and longer term appraisal of the domestic and export grain supply chains in New South Wales in terms of the grain markets that they serve and identified some long term sustainable opportunities that lead to increased efficiencies.

Funding

The Australian Government fully funded the Review.

Timetable

The final report into the Review was released on Wednesday 21 October 2009.
