Project DescriptionThis project is for the installation of a Pedestrian Actuated Crossing on Churchill Road, Prospect, between Gladstone Road and Boyle Street; several pedestrian refuges along Churchill Road between Regency Road and Torrens Road; and a raised median strip at the intersection of Churchill Road and Belford Street. BenefitsThe project will improve the safety of pedestrians crossing Churchill Road. FundingThe Australian Government has provided $200,000 for this project. TimetableInitial work commenced April 2009 and the project was completed in January 2010. |
